Interested in enrolling at RGV College? Here's some important information for you!

Our Admissions department is committed to helping you achieve your dreams, guiding you through each step of the enrollment process and answering any questions you may have along the way. The first step in the enrollment process is to schedule an interview with an Admissions Representative. This will give you the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have and, most importantly, determine whether RGV College is the right fit for you. If you have any questions that come to mind from scheduling to curriculum to financial aid – just ask us! We want you to make an informed decision when it comes to one of the most important choices in your life. Throughout the Admissions section of this site, we've tried to give you a thorough overview of the admissions process at RGV College, but we understand that everyone's situation is different.   • Must be licensed in at least one of the following: CNA, Medical Asst., Surgical Tech, EMT, PCT, or Paramedic. (All applicants MUST have a high school Diploma or GED)
  • Admission Entrance Exam (minimal total score of 60% must be acheived); $65 to be paid prior to the exam date and must present a valid ID. The entrance exam can be taken up to two times in a six-month period, and then can not be taken again until six months after the last failed date.
  • Should have minimal work experience in your certified field of expertise.
  • Complete a 250 word essay and participate in a panel interview on campus.

  • A high school Diploma or G.E.D. certification is required for entrance into the Pharmacy Technician Program.
  • All students must register with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, and within two years register as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • All students must have a criminal background check done, including fingerprints and never been convicted of felony prior to sitting in for PTCB exams.
  • All students must pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s National Certification Examination in order to register as a Pharmacy Technician
  • All students must have a social security number according to the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
